Materials
We weave 12 oz unbleached cotton duck, stretch it over kiln-dried FSC pine, and finish it with three coats of acid-free gesso. No plastics, no filler, no mystery coatings — just a surface that holds oil, acrylic and mixed media the same way in ten years as it does today.

Our story
Scribly started in a garage in 2019, after one too many warped, thinly primed boards from the art-supply aisle. We stretch every board by hand, sand between gesso coats, and check the tension twice before it leaves the bench.
